Question.
What the fuck is going on with all the pictures of London on fire???
I mean, camp is a bubble, but seriously, how did I miss that?

I just love this picture. We were being total tourists, and it was great.

I spontaneously ran into some friends from my freshman dorm while walking around, so we stopped for a group picture in Trafalgar Square.

This was my view while on the London Eye. Obviously it was worth the height (though I refused to let go of the railing), but it was so surreal to be looking at such historical monuments. Yes, I geeked out hard, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life, let alone this year.

This was on the Jubilee Bridge during what I considered to be my walk to my death since my friend was determined to ride the London Eye even though anything remotely resembling a ferris wheel makes me panic.

Just another highlight of my life beyond just this year.

- Went to see the Harry Potter Exhibit at the Boston Museum of Science for my 20th birthday last January
- Saw Martina McBride and Trace Adkins in concert
- Went on my KRUP service trip to New Orleans for spring break (almost broke myself trying to learn how to hammer, but it worked out in the end)
- Found Harry, A History by Melissa Anelli in an airport bookstore on my way to NOLA, thus opening my eyes to the extent of the HP fandom and pretty much pushing me past the point of no return that I had been toeing
- Passed Spanish class
- Didn’t die working Late Night
- Watched through the entire series of The Office (up to season 5, since we were also watching 6 on TV at the same time)
- Saw (and met/got pictures with) Harry and the Potters perform 3 times in the space of 3 months
- Was introduced to Nerdfighteria
- Got put into an NPR segment about the Operation Purple Camp week we had
- Successfully completed the Sporcle challenges naming the top 200 Harry Potter characters and all the chapter titles in the series (with my roommates…after we practiced)
- Had several campers request to be put into my cabins at camp
- SPENT 4 MONTHS IN IRELAND (which included kissing the Blarney Stone, visiting the Aran Islands, touring Cobh, drinking, and international travel on my own)
- Visited friends in Edinburgh
- Went to London (which included Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, King’s Cross Station, spontaneously running into friends, and a plethora of other touristy things)
- Saw Deathly Hallows in London on a massive IMAX screen (and got emotional, shouted at the screen, and accidentally punched the lady sitting next to me)
- Visited family friends in Swindon that I hadn’t seen in 7 years
- Thoroughly enjoyed The X Factor
- Read The Hunger Games and inspired all my Irish roommates to as well
- Had an epic Thanksgiving feast with my fellow Americans abroad
- Caught on to Misfits

I honestly hope someone else out there is as immature as I am, because I thought this was fucking hysterical.
Like, I think it beats Longwood from the T in Boston.

Possibly THE happiest moment of my life. I also made my friend take multiple pictures of me here. I’m pretty sure the worker we asked to direct us to the platform (since it was hidden in a side alcove no where near Platforms 9 or 10) thought we were crazy, but since his response to our request was, “Are you American?” we firgured there wasn’t much we could do about his opinion.
